OLD SHUTTLE LOOM TOWELS

Our Towels are old shuttle loom towels which has been a part of the culture as a tradition in a small town of Denizli for decades. Each family is anyhow related with weaving in the town. The Ottoman Sultan’s skirts are known to be woven in Denizli many decades ago and  it has been more like a way of life than making an industrial production here…

However there are very few masters nowadays who can operate those primitive old shuttle looms instead of automatic looms. Thanks to those amazing people working in production as heroes and keeping that alive.

The technical issues which differs our towels in use are the cotton ( 100% natural cotton – no regenerated yarn), the dying method which allows us to give lifetime guarantee, type of yarn, weight, and the human operated non automatic process of production. Knotting for the tassels are done by women of the town.
